Attended by 3,000 delegates, the 2nd Belt and Road Summit took place on 11 Sep 2017. Fidinam participated with a high level delegation led by its Vice President, Mr Paolo Balen, and Group CFO, Mr Alessandro Pedrinoni, as well as business partners and clients from mainland China.
Our representatives were scheduled to meet with professionals from Cambodia, Cyprus, Myanmar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam – a testimony to Fidinam’s commitment to explore various emerging markets along the Belt and Road.
Delivering a keynote speech at the Summit themed “From Vision to Action”, the Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, said that behind the investment in the Belt and Road Initiative, a variety of services are required to turn plans into vivid reality: investment and risk assessment, research, financing, insurance, accounting, legal services and arbitration, etc. Such are areas in which Fidinam and its network of associates could assist in materialising their Belt and Road vision.
